In this project, I transformed a pair of old jeans into a stylish toolbelt, inspired by industrial aesthetics. The main goal was to repurpose unused materials at home into a practical and visually appealing accessory.
Design Process:
Sketching: The project began with initial sketches to visualize the toolbelt's design and functionality, incorporating elements of industrial style.
Pattern Making: Next, patterns were created to ensure a precise fit and structure for the toolbelt, utilizing the denim fabric from the old jeans.
Material Acquisition: Additional materials such as buckles, rivets, and thread were sourced to complement the denim and enhance the industrial look.
Sewing: The construction phase involved careful sewing and assembly, transforming the patterns and materials into a functional toolbelt with pockets and compartments.
Final Project Photography: Once completed, the toolbelt was photographed to showcase its transformation and unique design features.
The final project design exemplifies a toolbelt designed sustainably for women. The final design includes a main compartment and a zippered pocket attached to the side.
